FOUR NEW RACES -- FOUR NEW FACES

Cody Smith #6 Austin Hogue #52 Ryan Glenski #28 Michael Cooper #68
Add a fourth driver to the list of winners so far this season.  Michael Cooper was the Pole Sitter and won the 50 lap race at Concord this weekend. There have been four  Legacy Touring Series races so far this season with four different winners. Cooper is the oldest of the group at twenty one years old and is a veteran of the series. This is his seventh year as a competitor. Fifteen year old Cody Smith from Holt, Florida won his first race at Hickory Motor Speedway on March 22nd, Austin Hogue who is sixteen years old and from Manchester, Pennsylvania, won at Dillon Motor Speedway on April 12th and fifteen year old Ryan Glenski from Mooresville, North Carolina won at South Boston Speedway on April 19th. Congratulations to these young men who have worked hard along with their race crews and parents at Legacy races and at their race shops for the past few years to be able to become winners. This series has become a schooling tool for young drivers to move up in their racing careers, much like going to a racing high school and then on to other forms of racing and many have the Sprint Cup Series as their ultimate goal. There are other young drivers in the same category who have been racing alongside these four drivers who may be winners soon such as Dylan Sawyer, Corey Roberts, Paul Beckner, Timmy Hill, Tyler Speer, Rob Beasley and others.  Many new drivers have joined the series this year and possibly one of them could take the checkers and take home a trophy too.......
